The 2012 annual volunteer awards are now open to receive nominations following the link below.  Three overall winners will be selected per region and one will be put forward for the Sport NZ National Award.

The 3 local regional winners will receive $250 worth of sports vouchers provided by Sport NZ.

Sport NZ will also draw thirty random nominations to receive $50 sports store vouchers.

A national winner will be selected from 17 finalists for the title of ‘Sport Volunteer of the Year’. With the winner in attendance, the winner will be announced at the New Zealand Sport and Recreation Awards in April 2013 (location TBC).

All Sport Waitakere nominations will be acknowledged in a celebratory event in the first week of October. Details will be provided in weeks to come.
